Xiaomi brings Yi range of action and security cameras to India

Xiaomi backed Yi Technology is foraying into the Indian market with a range of action and security/surveillance camera. The company is bringing only four products to the country such as Yi Home IP Camera, Yi Dome Camera, Yi Action Camera and Yi 4K Action camera. The prices start at Rs. 2,990 and goes up to Rs. 17,990.

The Yi Home IP Camera is the most affordable of the lot priced at Rs. 2,990. It has 1MP CMOS sensor with 111-degree wide-angle lens, advanced night vision with up to three meters of viewing range, high accuracy motion tracking technology, and built-in microphone for audio and video chat. It comes in Black and White color.

The Yi Dome Camera is equipped with 1MP CMOS sensor with 112-degree wide-angle lens, and can rotate to get a full 360-degree coverage of the room. It also features advanced night vision, 10-second smart motion tracking, 720p video recording and built-in microphone. It costs Rs. 4,990.

 
The Yi Action Camera will set you back by Rs. 6,990. It gets 16MP Sony IMX206 sensor with f/2.8 aperture, 155-degree wide-angle lens, and supports up to 1080p video recording at 60fps. It can operate in four modes that include Photo, Time-Lapse photo, Timed Photo and Video. The camera features 64GB internal storage, microSD card slot, WiFi and Bluetooth, and is waterproof for up to 40 meters underwater. It will be available in Black or White colors.

The Yi 4K Action camera is the most expensive product from Yi, priced at Rs. 17,990. The camera supports 4K video recorder and has a 2.19-inch display, bearing the resolution 640 x 360 pixels, protected by Gorilla Glass to resist scratches. It sports 12MP Sony IMX377 sensor with 1/2.3″ sensor, 7P lens, f/2.8 aperture, 155-degree wide viewing angle. It can record 4K videos at 30fps, 1080p videos at 120fps and 720p videos at 240fps. Other features include microSD card slot, dual-microphones, six-axis gyroscope for EIS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and up to two hours of continuous video recroding. Color options include Night Black and Pearl White.

The Yi Action Cameras come with optional accessories like selfie stick, waterproof case and Bluetooth Remote, that have to be purchased separately.
