Xiaomi Mi Max 2 now available from online and offline stores in India


The giant-sized phablet Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was launched in India last week, and was initially available on Mi.com and Bengaluru's Mi Home stores on July 20 and July 21. Today, the availability of Mi Max 2 has expanded, and is available across all major online stores as well as offline networks.

Online, the Mi Max 2 is now available for purchase from Flipkart, Amazon India, Tata CLiQ and PayTm mall for Rs. 16,999. As for the offline channels, the phablet will be available through Poorvika, BigC, Sangeetha, Croma, Lot, Vijay Sales, EZone and Reliance Digital. 

The Mi Max 2 is targeted at users who want a big screen to watch videos, play games, and read books while on the go, without worrying about the battery backup.

To recap the specs, the Mi Max 2 features 6.44-inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 12MP Sony IMX386 PDAF assisted rear camera, 5MP 85-degree wide-angle selfie camera, fingerpint scanner, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C port and 5300mAh battery. It ships with Android Nougat based MIUI 8, and will be upgraded to MIUI 9 in the near future.

As part of launch offer, the Mi Max 2 will come bundled with additional 100GB 4G data for users of Jio SIM. Users will get up to 10GB additional data on every recharge of Rs. 309 or above, limited to 10 recharges up to May 31, 2018.
