LG V30 Plus to reportedly launch alongside V30
LG has already confirmed that the company's latest flagship, V30 will be announced on August 31 at IFA, Berlin. In addition, a report coming out of South Korea suggests that LG also plans to launch a more powerful version V30 Plus.
What's the difference between V30 and V30 Plus ?. While the V30 is rumored to come with 64GB storage, the report says, V30 Plus will have 128GB of internal storage. Also the V30 Plus will have a superior audio system and support for wireless charging as well.
Earlier reports have suggested that V30 could boast Bang and Olufsen technology, but it looks like V30 Plus will get the B&O audio system, while the V30 will settle for an improved Quad DAC chip. Apart from these changes, the V30 Plus won't be too different from the regular V30.
LG has already confirmed two features of the flagship V30. Firstly, the V30 will sport a bezel-less design, same as LG G6, and feature 6-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Moreover, the signature 'secondary ticker display' of the V series will be ditched due to the use of FullVision display.
Second, it will have a dual-cameras and boasts f1.6 aperture and Crystal Clear Glass Lens for improved low light performance. The cameras will be accompanied with features like laser detection AF, optical image stabilzation (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS).
As for the other specs, the LG V30 will most likely have Snapdragon 835 chip, fingerprint scanner, 4GB RAM, IP69 water and dust resistance and run Android Nougat out of the box.
The LG V30 will be competing with the likes of Samsung's Galaxy Note8, Huawei's Mate 10, Apple iPhone 8 and Google Pixel XL 2. All these flagship will have bezel-less design.
