Samsung intros U Flex bendable Bluetooth headphones


Samsung has announced a new Bluetooth headphone called U Flex Headphones, which it says will deliver "top-notch sound experience with a lightweight, bendable around-the-neck design."

The U Flex Headphone is bendable by up to 100 degrees, and is designed to fit comfortably in a small bag or pocket. And thanks to P2i nano coating, it can withstand sweat and splashes, be at morning jog or workouts.

It is equipped with two-way speaker units that consist 11mm woofers and 8mm tweeters to deliver powerful bass, deep mids and clear highs. It also features the company's Scalable Codec technology (compatible with Android Nougat devices), that continuously analyze ambient interference from WiFi signal, and filters it to optimize audio performance to ensure a stable Bluetooth connection and seamless music playback.




The headphones have play/pause, volume control and power button, and a microUSB port on the side. It is also integrated with an Active Key button, the lets users to utilize various functions such as clock, timer, Samsung health, S-Voice, Bixby and more with just a touch of a button. The wearer can  use the Samsung Level app to control these functions. Additionally, the app also lets the wearer to adjust equilizer settings as well.

It promises up to 10 hours of music playback on a single charge, and offers vibration notifications for incoming calls and messages when connected to compatible smartphones. 

The Samsung U Flex Headphones is priced at 79.90 Euros ($94 | Rs. 6,000), and is now available in select European countries in Black, Blue and Ivory colors.
