Xiaomi India launches new Redmi 4A variant with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage at Rs. 6,999


The Xiaomi Redmi 4A is one of most popular budget smartphone in India, and carries a price tag of Rs. 5,999. It was launched in India back in March with only 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.

Now Xiaomi is launching a new upgraded variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and it has been priced at Rs. 6,999. The new variant will be available through Mi.com, Flipkart, Amazon India, PayTM, TataCliq and in Mi Home stores across the country starting August 31.

Apart from the bump in RAM and storage, the rest of the specifications are same. The Redmi 4A features 5-inch HD IPS display, Snapdragon 425 processor, 13MP/5MP cameras, hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE and 3120mAh battery.

It runs MIUI 8 based Android Marshmallow out of the box, and is confirmed to get Android Nougat based MIUI 8, when it's ready.
