Huawei went bezel-free with the Maimang 6 smartphone. Now the company's sub-brand Honor is following suit, and bringing the design to mid-range device. Honor has scheduled an event in China on October 11 to unveil its next mid-range smartphone the Honor 7X. It will succeed the popular dual-camera toting Honor 6X

The brand also shared a teaser, that reads "Want to see farther than ordinary people? Higher? wider your head and the world", which indicates, Honor 7X will have full screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It will also have dual-camera aligned horizontally and fingerprint scanner at the back.

There is no word on the specs, but it is likely to feature Full HD+ resolution display, octa-core Kirin 659 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, USB Type-C port and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat based EMUI 5.1.
