Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime, Galaxy J7 Prime receive price cut


Samsung has silently dropped the price of Galaxy J5 Prime and Galaxy J7 Prime in India by up to Rs. 2,000. The 32GB models of Galaxy J5 Prime and Galaxy J7 Prime were earlier available for Rs. 14,900 and Rs. 16,900 respectively. 

Now the Galaxy Galaxy J5 Prime has received a price cut of Rs. 1,910, and is now selling for 12,990, while the Galaxy J7 Prime price has been reduced by Rs. 2,000 and can be now grabbed for Rs. 14,900. At the revised price, they are available from both online and offline stores.

To recap the specs, the Galaxy J5 Prime 32GB features 5-inch HD display, quad-core Exynos 7570 processor, 2GB RAM, 13MP/5MP rear and front camera, 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM slot, fingerprint scanner and 2400mAh battery. It runs Android Marshmallow out of the box, and is upgradable to Nougat.

The Galaxy J7 Prime 32GB on the other hand offers 5.5-inch Full HD display, octa-core Exynos 7890 processor, 3GB RAM, 13MP/8MP cameras, 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM slot, fingerprint scanner and 3300mAh battery. It also runs Marshmallow, but is upgradable to Nougat.
