Airtel's Rs. 999 MyInfinity postpaid plan now offer 50GB data per month


After launching attractive data and voice combo plans for prepaid customers, Airtel is now focusing on postpaid customers. The leading telecom operator is upgrading its MyInfinity postpaid plans, by offering 500 percent more data, when compared to previous offering.

The popular MyInfinity plan of Rs. 999 now offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network across the country, and 50GB data per month. There is no daily restrictions on the data use, but once you exhaust the 50GB limit, you will be charged 50p/MB. The plan comes with one month validity, and the unused data will be carried forward to the next billing cycle. However, you can accumulate only up to 200GB data balance in your postpaid account.

Similarly, the base MyInfinity postpaid plan of Rs. 399, Rs. 499, Rs. 649 and Rs. 799 now offer 10GB, 20GB, 30GB and 40GB data respectively.

The premium plans of Rs. 1,999, Rs. 1,599, Rs. 1,999 and Rs. 2,999 now offers 75GB, 100GB, 125GB and 200GB data per billing cycle. Both base and premium plan will also offer unlimited voice calls to any network across the country. However, the Rs. 399 and Rs. 499 plans limit the number of outgoing calls, which will be charged as per the base tariff plan.

Airtel has been on a roll for last few weeks, and aggressively taking on Reliance Jio. It introduced Rs. 495 and Rs. 199 for prepaid customers, and launched 'Mera Pehle 4G smartphone' initiative, under which it will partner with multiple smartphone makers to release affordable 4G phones. The first 4G device from Airtel was offered in partnership with Karbonn.
