HTC U11 Life Android One edition specifications leaked
HTC is preparing to launch two more smartphones before the end of 2017: a near bezel-less flagship U11 Plus, and the upper mid-range U11 Life. According to reports HTC will also launch an Android One phone, which is basically the U11 Life running stock Android, with no change in the hardware.
To remind you, Google's failed Android One initiative, which was limited to domestic vendors and mid-range hardware, received a big boost with the addition of top device makers like Xiaomi and Motorola (Mi A1 and Moto X4 Android One).
That said, ROM developer and reliable HTC tipster, L1abTooFeR has shared the specs of the U11 Life Android Edition on Twitter. And to no surprise, the specs will be same as the regular U11 Life model.
According to the source, HTC U11 Life Android One will feature 5.2-inch Full HD display, 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor, 16MP front and rear cameras and 2600mAh battery. It will arrive in two variants: 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB, and boast IP67 water and dust resistance.
It will run pure Android Oreo, and support EdgeSense squeeze functions, which lets you squeeze the pressure-sensitive frame of the device to trigger various actions. It will also support USonic which means you will be able to use the device with HTC's USonic noise canceling earphones. The USonic earphones will connect to the USB Type-C port, as there is no 3.5mm audio jack in the device.
Google has an event tomorrow October 4, where it will launch Pixel 2 line up and other hardware products. We can also expect the company to reveal future plans of Android One program.
