Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage arrives in Finland
The Nokia 8 was initially launched with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. However, now HMD has started selling a beefier version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage in home market of Finland. It is now up for pre-oreder via DNA and Verkkokauppa for €649.99 ($769 | Rs. 50,000), and will go on sale starting October 19 only in Polished Blue color.
Apart from the RAM and storage, the rest of the specifications of the Nokia 8 top model remains the same as the regular model.
As a reminder, the Nokia 8 features 5.3-inch QHD display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and is powered by Snapdragon 834 processor backed by Adreno 540 GPU. It has 13MP dual cameras (RGB + Monochrome sensor) at the back with f/2.2 Carl ZEISS optics and is assisted by PDAD, IR range finder and dual-tone LED flash. It has 13MP f/2.0 PDAF assisted front camera.
The Nokia 8 gets juice from a 3090mAh battery and supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0. It runs stock Android Nougat, and will get upgraded to Android Oreo soon.
Other features are microSD card slot, Nokia OZO 360-degree spatial surround sound, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, fingerprint scanner, NFC, USB Type-C, and IP54 water resistance rating.
