NVIDIA Shield TV update improves Google Assistant, adds YouTube TV support and more
NVIDIA has released a new update to its NVIDIA Shield Android TV in the form of Shield Experience 6.1. The new update includes a couple of new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
The last major upgrade to the device added support for Google Assistant, and the new update adds more commands to Assistant. With the addition, NVIDIA Shield TV users in the U.S will be able to open shows and control playback in HULU, book an Uber ride or order Domino's Pizza, as well as shipping on Target, Walmart, Costco and more.
It also adds support for YouTube TV Android TV app in the U.S, which can be downloaded from the Play Store, while UK users gets ITV support.
The update also brings bug fixes as well as the latest security patch, including fixes for KRACK security vulnerability in WPA2 WiFi protocol.

The Shield Experience 6.1 update for NVIDIA's Shield TV is now rolling out.
