OnePlus 5T gets its first update in the form of OxygenOS 4.7.2


The OnePlus 5T has just released in the market, and it is already getting its first update in the form of OxygenOS 4.7.2. As a reminder the phone went on sale yesterday and features a near bezel-less design, 6.1-inch display, Snapdragon 835 chip, 8GB RAM and dual-cameras.

The new OxygenOS 4.7.2 update includes optimization for fingerprint scanner and face unlock, and improves accuracy for screen off gestures and EIS during 4K video recording. It also includes general stability improvements and bug fixes, and patches. The update will also fix  KRACK security vulnerability in WPA2 WiFi protocol.

The update package weighs at 107MB in size, and is rolling out over-the-air. The update will automatically reach your phone, and if you don't immediately see it, try checking manually, by going to Settings > About phone > System updates.
