OnePlus pushes Android Oreo OTA for OnePlus 3 & 3T
OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphone users are in for a treat. After a month of beta testing, OnePlus has finally released the first official Android O OTA for both devices. What this means is the Oreo build is stable and ready for the general public.
The Android Oreo based OxygenOS 5.0 is rolling out over the air and weighs in at 1.4GB and brings features such parallel apps, picture-in-picture mode, auto-fill, smart text selection, quick settings design, notification dots and more. It also includes September 2017 security patch. More features will be coming in the near future.

As usual, this OTA will be incremental, and only reach a small percentage of users today, followed by a wider roll out in the coming days.
Speaking of the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T, they will get Android Oreo in early 2018. But before that the Oreo Open beta program will be kicked off later this month for OnePlus 5, and next month (late-December) for OnePlus 5T.
