Tesla releases power bank for Android and iOS devices

Elon Musk owned Tesla recently introduced its electric Semi truck and the world's fastest production car, Roadster. In addition, Tesla also silently unveiled a Tesla themed power bank that can charge Android and iOS devices.

The Tesla Power bank is designed and inspired after the Tesla's supercharger monument, which is at the Tesla Design Studio. It uses a single 18650 cell with 3,350mAh capacity, that's also found in Tesla's Model S and X electric vehicles. It has an output of 5V/1.5 max,

The power bank houses an USB and Apple lightning cable connection. This means iPhone users can directly plug their phone into the power bank without carrying Lightning to USB cable. There's also a  detachable micro-USB connection, which Tesla claims to provide high efficiency circuitry to deliver maximum battery capacity.

The Tesla Power bank has been priced at $45 (Rs. 3,500) and can be purchased from the company website.
