Xiaomi launches new tool to track repair status of device in real time
Xiaomi India has come out with a new solution to simplify its after sales service. Until now Xiaomi device owners required to call the specific service centre and inquire about the repair status of their device.
However, now Xiaomi is making it easier to check the device repair status with a new online service. This new service called "Service Order Status" will allow users to track their device repair status in real time online without any hassles.
The new service is available in Xiaomi's India website, and users have to enter details like phone number, service number and IMEI number. After entering these details, you'll get an OTP (one time password) on your smartphone, which you will need to verify on the Mi.com website. You will then get status of your service order along with details of your phone.

- Under inspection – Your device is being checked
- Work in progress – Your device is getting repaired
- Ready for delivery – Your device is repaired and is ready to be delivered
- Delivered – You have accepted the delivery of your device
- Cancelled – Your service order is cancelled
