Amkette is upgrading its EvoTV2 media streaming box with a new model called EvoTV2 4K. As the name suggests the new model is capable of streaming media in 4K quality. The company says EvoTV 2 4K can handle 60fps, which is double the fps when compared to ordinary set-top boxes.
Besides the addition of 4K support nothing much has changed internally. The EvoTV 2 4K has 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and microSD card slot. Other features include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 4 x USB ports Ethernet port and HDMI port.
The media-streaming box runs customized version Android Marshmallow and comes with huge catalogue of free and premium content from Amazon Prime, Hotstar, Sony Liv and YouTube. It also comes with built-in Chrome Browser as well.
The Amkette EvoTV2 4K has been priced at Rs. 7,499, but will be available at a special price of Rs. 6,499 exclusively on Snapdeal.
