Harman launches new range of JBL, Harman Kardon and Infinity audio products in India


Harman International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics has launched a wide-range of audio products in India.

The products launched include a variety of audio portables, headphones, home and multimedia and car after market products from Harman's JBL, Harman Kardon and Infinity brands.

The audio products launched include
  1. JBL Flip 4: The next generation of JBL’s popular Flip series and the winner of the 2017 CES Innovation Award.
  2. JBL Pulse 3: Waterproof Bluetooth speaker with an outstanding 360° sound and electrifying light show. 
  3. Harman Kardon Traveler: Beautifully crafted, portable travel speaker, designed for on-the-go professionals.
  4. Harman Kardon OMNI+ series: Next Generation of Wi-Fi HD Home audio systems with advanced streaming capabilities.
  5. JBL Cinema SB450: Successor of JBL’s popular home cinema line up, a 2.1 sound bar with a wireless subwoofer designed to complement ultra HD video devices.
  6. Infinity Kappa Perfect 600: New automotive speaker system combined with superior technology and a compact design.
In addition, Harman also unveiled its latest audio innovations showcased at IFA in Berlin last month. The IFA line up, which includes JBL LINK series, JBL Boombox, JBL Jr. and JBL Freewill be available in India starting first quarter of 2018. The IFA line-up are mentioned below:
  • JBL LINK series: First voice-activated speaker series that bring together JBL’s Signature Sound with Google Assistant.
  • Harman Kardon Allure: First and only high-end speaker in the market with Amazon Alexa, Harman Kardon Allure combines far-field voice recognition technology with refined 360 degree sound and a sleek design.
  • JBL Boombox: Powerful portable Bluetooth speaker that delivers exceptional sound and hard hitting bass and keeps the music experience going for up to 24 hours.
  • JBL Jr.: JBL’s first line of kids’ headphones that perfectly blend youngster’s entertainment needs with parents’ safety and quality expectations.
  • JBL Free: The perfect, truly wireless music companion for the everyday active lifestyle for calls, music, and exercise.
Prices of the newly launched audio products start at Rs. 1,119 and goes up to Rs. 39,990. They will be available through 350 of Samsung’s key brand stores across India by the end of 2017.

Harman Kardon One and Esquire 2 portable speakers launched in India


Harman has launched two premium wireless portable speakers in India, Kardon ONE and Kardon Esquire 2. Both the speaker connect to devices via Bluetooth or using the auxiliary cable.

The Harmon Kardon ONE is encased in a premium aluminum body with an anodized coating, sports two 6W stereo speakers and can be used as a speakerphone as well. It packs 2000mAh battery (rechargeable) that offers up to five hours of audio playback. The speaker also supports HTC's Connect technology, which makes it easier to pair with HTC handsets.

The Esquire 2 is a high-end speaker from Harmon, offering a quad-microphone conferencing system with echo cancelling technology. It also offers features like 360-degree voice pick for clear conferencing experience, VoiceLogic noise cancelling technology, 16W speakers, and is backed by a 3200mAh battery that promises eight hours of music playback. It also has a USB port that enables it to double up as a portable power bank for charging other USB devices.

The Harman Kardon ONE (Black) is priced at Rs. 14,990 and the Esquire 2 (Graphite, Black, Champagne colors) costs Rs. 19,990. Both are available for purchase on the company website and in HK sound lounges across the country.
