Audio gear maker Harman Kardon, a Samsung Electronics owned company has launched the voice activated Harman Kardon Allure speaker in India. The speaker supports Amazon's smart assistant Alexa, and delivers omni-directional or 360-degree sound output. Harman Kardon Allure is able to recognize users voice command to perform actions like search web for information, play music, create lists, set alarm, play audio-book, book Uber/Ola, order Food and hear recipes (Faasos, Box8, Freshmenu, Zomato, Tarla Dalaal), provide weather update, calendar reminders and more. You can also make purchases from Amazon India and control smart home appliance as well. For complete hands-free experience, the speaker comes with four built-in microphones and noise cancellation technology to pick up voice commands accurately from across the room or noisy environments. In addition the speaker is also capable of streaming music wireless from your mobile device through Bluetooth. It also supports WiFi. The smart speaker speaker can operate across at a frequency range of 40Hz-20Khz, and includes built-in subwoofer for loud and crisp sound. It has multi-color LED lighting at the top for ambient lighting, that glows from within the transparent top half. The ambient light also glows while interacting with Alexa. Harman and Microsoft unveiled Invoke, the first Coratana enabled smart speaker back in May 2017, without revealing the pricing and availability details. And now Harman has announced that the Invoke will be available in the U.S starting October 22 at Rs. 199.99 (Rs. 30,000). It comes in Graphite and Pearl Silver color, and will be available for purchase from Best Buy, Microsoft stores and other retail locations, as well as online at HarmanKardon.com and Microsoft.com The Invoke speaker has Amazon Echo like cylindrical design with 360-degrees speaker. Like other smart speakers, Invoke can play music, manage calendars and activities, set reminders, check traffic, deliver latest news, , weather, sports update and more. It features Skype integration, allowing you to make phone calls to other mobile or Skype-enabled devices.
