Infocus Kangaroo Plus smartphone sized PC gets 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, priced at $170
Infocus introduced the Kangaroo, a $100 mini PC last year in October and now the company has launched a refreshed model with double storage and RAM called Kangaroo Plus.
The Kangaroo Plus comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC storage as compared to 2GB RAM and 32GB storage on the Kangaroo. Rest of the specs will remain the same. However the new model does not come with an OS. InFocus notes that the Kangaroo Plus supports Windows 10 and Linux OS, but you'll have to install it your self.
Just like the original Kangaroo, the Kangaroo Plus has the size of a smartphone that can fit into a pocket. It is equipped with quad-core Intel Cherrytrail Atom x5-Z8500 processor, microSDXC card reader and comes with a removable base unit, which houses an HDMI port, USB 2.0 port, USB 3.0 port and a DC power port.
For wireless connectivity there is WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0. It also features Windows Hello fingerprint sensor. The inbuilt battery promises 4 hours of usage and can be charged via micro USB port when the dock is not attached.
The Kangaroo Plus is priced at $170 and is now available to purchase in the U.S exclusively at Newegg.com
