Samsung Galaxy Note 6 rumored to launch with Android N in July
The latest smartphone to headline the rumor mill is Samsung's Galaxy Note 6. According to reports coming out of Korea, Samsung is working on the Galaxy Note 6 under the codename Grace.
The report says that the Galaxy Note 6 will launch in July, and will be the first smartphone to run Google's upcoming Android N out of the box, which means Google should have the final version of Android N ready by July.
To remind you, Google has started testing Android N, as it recently released the Android N Developer Preview, and said that the new OS will be available to OEMs this summer.
Unfortunately the report did not mention the specifications of the Galaxy Note 6.
Based on earlier rumors, the Galaxy Note 6 will sport a 5.8-inch Slim RGB AMOLED Quad HD display and powered by Exynos 8890/Snapdragon 820 SoC with 6GB RAM, and available in 64GB, 128GB or 256GB storage models. It is expected to feature 12-megapixel Dual Pixel rear camera, the same used in Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
Note that, nothing is officially confirmed at the moment, so take the report with a pinch of salt.
To recall the Galaxy Note 5 was launched in August.
