Acer launch Liquid Jade S with 64-bit MediaTek SoC
Acer has introduced a new variant of the Liquid Jade - the Liquid Jade S in Taiwan. The Liquid Jade S is the company's first 64-bit smartphone. Last week Acer launched the Liquid Jade and Jade E700 in Indian market.
Coming to the specs, the device features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS display and is powered by a 64-bit octa-coreMediaTek MT6752M SoC with 1.5GHz octa-core CPU, paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage (expandable via a microSD card). The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
Camera features include a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include, Dual SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and GPS/ A-GPS. The device is backed by a 2100mAh battery.
The Acer Liquid Jade S will be available in Taiwan from December 18 for TWD 6,990 (Rs. 14,000). There is no word on the global availability of the device.
