Super Slim Vivo X5Max to launch in India on December 15

Chinese handset maker 'Vivo' is all set to enter the Indian market and has sent out invites for an event taking place on December 15, in Delhi. The company will launch its smartphones in partnership with Viacom18 who will look into marketing Vivo in India.

The official press invite reads,
"The countdown begins...Vivo Mobile, with its slimmest phone in the world is about to enter your life."
It is clear from the press invite that Vivo will launch the Vivo X5Max which is the world’s thinnest smartphone. Vivo has already confirmed that the Vivo X5Max will will be unveiled on December 10 in China.

According to reports, X5Max has a thickness of just 4.75mm and will feature a 5.5-inch full HD display, and powered by1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek processor paired with 2GB of RAM and16GB of internal memory [expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card]. Other features include 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camer, 4G LTE and dual-Sim slots. It will run Android 4.4 KitKat.

More details about the device will be available on 15 December after the official launch.
