CES 2015 : HP Announce Pavilion Mini And Stream Mini PCs

HP announced two new small desktop computers today at CES 2015, Las Vegas dubbed the HP Pavilion Mini and the HP Stream Mini. The pocket sized desktops are designed to take up less space on your desk.

The Pavilion Mini is a powerful device and is for those who need more local storage for photos and videos. It will come with either an Intel Pentium 3558U or Core i3-4025U. It also features 4GB RAM and a 500GB hard drive. The system has four USB ports including a DisplayPort, an Ethernet port, an HDMI port, and four USB 3.0 ports. It also has an SD card reader and audio in and out ports.

The Pavilion Mini is 5.7 inches (145mm) square and about 2 inches (50mm) thick, and has a minimalist gray and silver plastic 1.6 pound (725 gram) body. It comes bundled with a USB keyboard and mouse.

The HP Stream Mini is designed to be a cloud based and is meant for online streaming and working on files in the cloud. It features an Intel Celeron 2957U processor, 2GB of memory, and a 32GB SSD. HP also includes a 200GB of Microsoft OneDrive storage for two years and also $25 credit to buy apps and software from the Windows Store.

The HP Pavilion Mini and Stream Mini is priced at $319 (Rs. 19,000) and $179 (Rs. 11,000) respectively. It will be available in US on January 14 and will arrive at some retailers early next month.. There is no details on the international price and availability.
