Ideum's 'Duet' Is A Multi-touch Coffee Table, Brings Windows 8 And Android Together On One Table


Ideum's Duet is a smart coffee table with computer-like hardware that features a big display.  The talking point of the device is it can runs Windows and Android operating systems which can be easily switched with click of a button. Duet is available in two different sizes - 42-inch and 46-inch.

In addition to the Windows and Android operating system, there's also an Intel Edison mini-computer which facilitate fast switching between the two operating systems in around 2 seconds.

Duet is built from a combination of cold-rolled steel and aircraft grade aluminium. It has a sleek, bezel level design,  anti-glare coating and palm rejection. and precise multitouch input.  It can detect up to 60 touch points when running Windows, and up to 12 when using Android. The 46-inch model is IP54 certified.
