Eddy Creativity Tablet, Ben 10 Tablet for kids launched in India

Metis Learning's Eddy in partnership with Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE) launched two new tablets for kids called  'Eddy Creativity tablet' and 'Eddy Ben 10 tablet' in India. The tablets are meant to provide fun learning experience for kids.

The Eddy Creativity tablet and Eddy Ben 10 tablets comes pre-loaded with contents from Cartoon Network and POGO and are targeted at kids aged 3 and above. It also comes with parental controls such as time limits on operations and can track kid's activities.

Eddy Creative tablet is being positioned as the world's first creativity tablet for kids. It includes 150 plus art and craft activity videos from the show M.A.D. with Rob, Music and dance videos and apps, 30 pre-installed creative apps, library of 100+ children's books and 20 kid's games.

The Ben 10 tablet is designed to provide hours of learning and entertainment. It comes pre-loaded with a libraary of 1000+ books, education apps from leading content developers, 1000+ minutes of Ben 10 episodes and 20 kid's games.

Both tablets feature 7-inch (1024x600) multi touch display. The screen have been designed to provide protection from UV rays. It also scratch-proof, with a 9H hardness level and incudes a drop safe bumber to prevent damage from falls. The tablets run on the company's propreitory Athena OS based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

They are powered by dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor. Both tablets house 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and microSD card slot.

Camera features include 2-megapixel rear camera and front facing camera. Connectivity features include 3G (via dongle),WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, mini HDMI out and USB OTG. It is backed by 2800mAh battery.
