Huawei Honor 6 Plus to launch in India later this month
Chinese smartphone maker Huawei at the sidelines of MWC 2015, Barcelona announced that the company will launch their latest Honor 6 Plus smartphone in India by end of this month. The Huawei Honor 6 Plus made its debut in China in December last year.
Huawei also plans to introduce affordable 4G smartphones in India to expand its business. President of Honor international Dragon Yin said "With the launch of 4G in India, we are sure that we will be able to increase our market share by introducing affordable 4G smart phones in India. Our differential lies in our quality, our ability to innovate and each of our products is a result of extensive research and development. We are expecting that the Honor6 plus to take the market by storm."
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus features a 5.5-inch full HD display (1080x1920pixels) and is powered by an octa-core Kirin 925 processor with Mali T628 GPU. It houses 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, microSD card slots (accepts microSD card upto 128GB), Dual 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. The handset is backed by 3600mAh battery and support 4G LET. It runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS with Emotion 3.0 UI on top.
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus will launch in India exclusively via Flipkart and is expected to be priced around Rs. 20,000.
Huawei Launched the Honor 3c and Honor 6 in India in October last year via Flipkart and received overwhelming response. At the moment, India's emerging smartphone market is the top priority for Honor among others.
