Motorola Moto Turbo launched in India, up for pre-order via Flipkart for Rs. 41,999

Motorola launched its premium smartphone - Moto Turbo in India. The Moto Turbo was first launched as Droid Turbo in October last year for Verizon Wireless in the U.S, after which it was released as Moto Maxx for global markets.


The phone is now available for pre-orders via Flipkart at Rs. 41,999. It will be released in the third week of March. Flipkart has also included various launch offers such as 100 percent cashback for lucky 25 consumers in the form of store credit and 10 percent off on phones purchased via American Express cards. The offer is only valid for Monday.

The Motorola Moto Droid offers lightning speed and butter-smooth performance, an amazing disaplay and a powerful battery.


The Moto Droid features a 5.2-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with Adreno 420GPU.

It houses 3GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

Camera features include 21-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and F/2.0 aperture. It comes with features such as slow motion video; burst mode; auto HDR; Panorama, and tap to focus. It can also record 4K videos at 24fps. At the front there is a 2-megapixel camera.

Connectivity features include  4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11a/g/b/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS and NFC

The Moto Droid is backed by 3900mAh battery, and comes with a turbo charger (accessory) that gives eight hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charging.

The device measure 143.5x73.3x8.3mm, weighs 166 grams and will be offered in Black color with Ballistic Nylon back.
