Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge set for India Launch on March 23
Samsung has sent out invites for its BLOG-A-THON event on March 23 in New Delhi, India where it will unveil the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Both device were unpacked at MWC, Barcelona earlier this month.
It is worth noting that the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will be showcased on March 23 event but both devices will not be available in the country before April. This is in line with global announcement, which clearly states that the roll out of both device will happen from April 10. Reports say that the pre-orders for the devices will go live in the last week of March.
There is no word on the pricing of the devices for India, but it is expected to be revealed at the event. Prices of Galaxy S6 and S6 edge were recently revealed when pre-order began in the U.K. The Galaxy S6 32GB model is priced Euro 700 (Rs. 47,000) while the Galaxy S6 Edge 32GB is priced at Euro 850 (Rs. 57,000)

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are constructed from a single piece of aluminum. Both devices come with all glass finish and has layer of Gorilla Glass 4 on both rear and front side.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge sports 5.1-inch QHD super AMOLED display that offers vibrant colours, great viewing angels and stellar contrast. The only difference is the Galaxy S6 Edge sports dual-edge display.
Camera features on both models include ISOCELL 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. The Galaxy S6 is backed by 2550mAh battery while the Galaxy S6 Edge is backed by 2600mAh battery. They run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
