The curved LG G Flex2 launched in India for Rs 55,000


LG at its annual Tech show in New Delhi, India launched second-generation curved display smartphone, LG G Flex 2. The G Flex 2 was announced at this year's CES in Las Vegas and is claimed to be the first smartphone to run Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

The LG G Flex 2 is priced at Rs. 55,000 and will go on sale in India later this month. It will be offered in Platinum Silver or Flamenco Red colors.

The LG G Flex 2 eatures a 5.5-inch full-HD curved P-OLED display with 403ppi pixel density. The display has a 700-mm radius curvature and at the back a 650mm-radius cuvature. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 has toughened with the firm's own special chemical treatment technology which LG calls Dura-Gaurd Glass. LG has also improved the 'Self Healing' back, the device will now get healed within 10 seconds. 

The smartphone is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU and paired with 2GB LPDDR4 RAM and 16GB and 32GB storage variants [microSD card support]. The smartphone runs Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box. 

Camera features include a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS+ and dual-LED two tone flash and laser guided autofocus. While the front snapper features a 2.1-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE-A with tri-band carrier aggregation, HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth Smart Ready (Apt-X) 4.1, NFC, SlimPort, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB 2.0. 

Other features of the LG G Flex 2 include Simple hand Gesture Shot, Gesture View (to check last clicked shot) and Glance View (to swipe down notification when screen is off).

The show on the LG G Flex 2 is run by a 3000mAh non removable battery. The device also support quick charging with battery reaching 50% in less than 40 minutes after putting it for charging.
