Xolo Q1001 listed on company's website for Rs. 6,199
A product page in Xolo's official site reveals details of a new budget Android smartphone called Xolo Q1001. According to the listing the phone is priced Rs. 6,199, but there is no mention of its availability. However the Q1001 is up for grabs via Snapdeal at a discounted price of Rs. 5,789.
The Xolo Q1001 is dial-SIM handset and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. It features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6582M processor paired with Mali-400 MP2GPU.
It houses 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage and microSD card slot (supports up to 32GB). Camera features include 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera.
Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/
EDGE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0.
A 2000mAh battery runs the show on Xolo Q1001 which is rated to deliver up to 12 hours of talktime on 3G and up to 22 hours talktime on 2G network. It measures 143x73.2x9.5mm.
