HP announces New Envy x360, Pavilion x360 hybrids and Pavilion notebooks

HP launched its latest generation of Pavilion and Envy convertibles - Pavilion x360 and Envy x360  along with  Pavilion notebooks. 

The HP Pavilion x360 and Envy x360 comes with geared hinge through which users will be able to use them in various mode - stand mode, tent mode or tablet mode. Both also include Bang & Olufsen speakers and supports full-sized HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports and One USB 2.0 ports. They runs Windows 8.1.

The Envy x360 flaunts a metallic finish and sports a 15.6-inch IPS touchscreen. It comes in three configurations-
  • Intel Core i5 Processor, HD touchscreen, 4GB system memory and 500GB HDD for $679.99.
  • Intel Core i5 Processor, Full HD touchscreen, 8GB system memory and 1 TB HDD for $769.99.
  • Intel Core i7 Processor, FHD touchscreen display, 8GB system memory and a 1 TB HDD for $899.99.
HP Envy x360 comes with 48-watt battery that lasts up to 8 hours and 45 minutes. It also has a HP USB sleep and charge port that can charge other devices, even when in sleep mode. It will be available in brushed metal Silver finish.

The HP Pavilion x360 comes in either 11-inch or 13-inch screen and uses a fan-less design. It also comes in three configurations-
  • 11" with Intel Pentium N3700 Processor, HD Touchscreen display, 4GB system memory and 500GB HDD for $409.99. 
  • 11" with Intel Core M-5Y10C Processor, HD Touchscreen, 4GB system memory and 128GB SSD for $499.99. 
  • 13" with Intel Core i3, HD touchscreen, 4GB system memory and 500GB HDD for $529.99. 
The 11-inch HP Pavillion x360 has a battery life of eight hours and 15 minutes and comes in silver, red, purple or green color options. The 13-inch model offers 10 hours and 45 minutes of battery life and comes in silver and red colors.

Lastly, the HP Pavilion notebooks comes with a variety of hardware choices. They are offered with HD or Full HD touch or no touch in 14, 15 and 17-inch displays. They will be available in the market with the following configurations-
  • 14" with Intel® Core i3 Processor, HD Display, 6GB system memory and 750GB HDD for $549.99
  • 14" with Intel® Core i3 Processor, HD Display, 6GB system memory and 1TB HDD for $599.99.
  • 15" with Intel® Core i3 Processor, HD Display, 4GB system memory, 500GB HDD for $599.99.
  • 15" with AMD sixth generation A10 Processor, HP Touch Display, 8GB system memory and 750GB HDD for $629.99.
  • 17" with Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor, HD Display, 4GB system memory and 750GB HDD for $479.99.
The 14, 15 and 17 inch HP Pavillion notebooks offer battery life of up to eight hours and 15 minutes, 7 hours and 30 minutes and 6 hours and 15 minutes of respectively.

The HP Pavilion notebooks and Pavilion x360 models will be available starting May 13 on HP website and June 21 with select retailers, Envy x360 models will be available staring June 18 via HP website in the U.S
