Acer unveils new lineup of Aspire notebooks - Aspire V15, Aspire E and ES series

Acer, at its Next@Acer event in New York launched a slew of products including Liquid X2 smartphone, tablets and Chromebook. The company also unveiled its 2015 line up of Aspire notebooks - Aspire V 15, Aspire E and ES Series that comes in screen size options ranging in size from 11.6-inch to 17.3-inches. All the laptops run Windows 8.1.

The Acer Aspire V 15 sports an aluminum top cover imprinted using the company's nano-imprint technology to provide metallic finish. It features 15-inch (1368x768 pixels) HD or Full HD display and will have Intel's fifth generation Core Processors inside, along with NVIDIA GeForce 940M series graphich chips. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 2TB hard drive or 1TB hybrid drive. There is also a Dolby Digital Plus sound, DVD-RW drive with M-Disc support and HD webcam. It has a battery life of up to 5 hours.

The Aspire E series of laptops consists of Aspire E14, E15 and E17 with screen size of 14", 15.6" and 17.3" inch respectively.  The Aspire E14 and E15 features touch (HD) and non-touch (HD and full-HD) display while the Aspire E17 only has non-touch display with 1600x900 or 1920 pixel options.

The Aspire E series comes with Intel processors and the choice of either NVIDIA's GeForce 940M series graphics chips or AMD Radeon R8 and R6 dual graphics chip. They support up to 16GB of RAM and offer up to 2TB HDD or up to 1TB hybrid drive.

The Aspire ES series comes in five models Aspire ES 11, ES 13, ES 14, ES 15 and ES 17. They include power-efficient Intel Pentium or Celeron processors, supports up to 8GB RAM and comes with up to 1TB of HDD.

The Acer Aspire V 15 will be available in the U.S in August with prices starting at $599. In June it will be available in Europe, Middle East and Africa followed by China in July.

The Acer Aspire E Series will be available in the U.S in July at prices starting from $379, followed by EMEA region in May and China in April.

Finally the Aspire ES series will be available with prices starting at $229 in the U.S in July, followed by EMEA regions in June and China in April.
