HTC ‘closely working with Microsoft’ for a Windows 10 Phone
HTC at the sidelines of launch event of One M9+ in New Delhi, India revealed that the company is closely working with Microsoft to bring a Windows 10 device to market.
Chia-Lin Chang, President of Global Sales and Chief Financial Officer at HTC, while replying to our question, said that the company is closely working with Microsoft as they ramp up towards the release of Windows 10.
"We'll see how the new version of the Windows operating system shapes up and where it fits in the HTC lineup."
He added saying that HTC will be able to share more information about the HTC windows phone by the end of second quarter or the beginning of third quarter this year.
In adddition, earlier this year tipster @upleaks has already revealed that 'HimaW' is the codename for the Windows 10 powered smartphone by HTC and will be a U.S exclusive. To no surprise the phone will feature similar specs to the current Android based HTC One M9 except the OS. Last year HTC rolled out a Windows 8.1 variant of its One M8 Android flagship.
