Microsoft announces Lumia 540 Dual SIM with 5-inch display for $149
Microsoft announced another low-end Windows Phone handset, the Lumia 540 designed for young people
The Microsoft Lumia 540 is a dual-SIM device and runs Windows 8.1 with Lumia Denim, capable of upgrading to Windows 10 later this year. It sports 5-inch HD (1280x720 pixels) display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor paired with 1GB RAM.
The smartphone comes with 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB microSD cards. It also comes with 15GB OneDrive cloud storage, plus users will get additional 15GB after activating auto-upload to OneDrive.
Camera features include 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel wide-angle front facing camera. A 2200mAh battery runs the show on the Lumia 540 Dual SIM.
The device will be available in glossy layered cyan, orange, white and matte black. It measures 144 x 73.69 x 9.35 mm and weighs 152g.
Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM is priced at $149 and will be available from early May in India, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
