Lenovo K80 with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and 4000mAh battery launched


Lenovo has announced a new smartphone dubbed K80 in China. The main highlight of the K80 is the 4GB RAM. Phones with 4GB RAM is slowly becoming the norm. Asus ZenFone 2 was the first smartphone to feature 4GB RAM and than there is Xiaomi's Mi Note Pro which also comes with 4GB RAM.

The Lenovo K80 features 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080 pixels) display and is powered by 64-bit 1.2GHz (some site reporting 1.8GHz) Intel Atom processor paired with 4GB RAM. The smartphone comes with 64GB inbuilt storage and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Camera features include 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS. There are no details on the front camera. It is backed by a large 4000mAh battery, sports an 8.5mm thin body and will be available in Black, Silver or Red color options.

The Lenovo K80 is priced at CNY 1,799 (Rs. 18,000) and will be available in China starting April 30. There is another variant of Lenovo K80 with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It comes with a price tag of CNY 1499 (Rs. 15,000). There are no details on the global availability.
