Samsung creates specialist teams that will make screens for Apple devices only

Samsung Electronic Co. has created a dedicated team of  200 people to work exclusively on making displays for Apple Inc's products, reported Bloomberg, citing people with direct knowledge of the matter.

The Samsung team , formed on April 1 provides screens for iPads, MacBooks and helps develop products. The team are allowed to share information about Apple's business details within the group.

In addition, Samsung is also rumored to manufacture Apple's next generation A9 SoC (system-on-chip) processor that will power the future iPhones and iPads.

Last year, Samsung and Apple dropped all patent litigation outside the U.S, scaling down a longer than expected legal battle between the smartphone rivals. The legal battle began in the U.S in 2011 when Apple accused Samsung of copying its iPhone designs. Samsung countered that Apple was using its  wireless transmission technology without the company's permission.
