Top-down shooter 'Halo: Spartan Strike' hits Windows 8, Windows Phone, iPhone and iPad


Microsoft has released the Halo : Spartan Strike, a Sci-Fi touch-based top-down shooter. The game is developed by Vanguard Games in coordination with 343 Industries, the team behind Halo series.

Set during the events of Halo 2, you will lead UNSC troops through numerous missions battling evil forces and save the Earth from being overtaken in 30 thrilling mission through jungles and cities.

Halo : Spartan Strike is priced at $5.99 (Rs. 579) and is available on Windows Phone, Windows 8.1, iPhone and iPad. For Windows, it is a universal app, which means if you buy the Windows Phone version you get the game for free on Windows 8.1 and vice-versa. For Windows Phone the game is compatible with 512MB RAM devices and the download package is 864MB.
