Asus ZenFone 2 launched in the U.S. and Canada, goes on sale May 19 for $299


Asus Zenfone 2 has reached the North American shores. Asus launched the Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) in the U.S and Canada. It will be available in two variants for the North American market - one with 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3560 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, the other with 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB on internal storage.

 Rest of the specs are same on both the variants that include 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Corning gorilla glass 3 protection, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel front facing camera, Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI on top, Connectivity suite (4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS) and 3000mAh battery.

Asus Zenfone 2 will be available in red, black, gray and silver colors from May 19. The unlocked version will be available to order from Amazon.com, B&H, Groupon.com and NewEgg.com in the US and NewEgg.ca, NCIX.com, Canada Computer and Memory Express in Canada.
