Intex Aqua Star II HD with 5-Inch HD display launched for Rs. 6,590
Intex technologies launched its latest budget smartphone in the Aqua series, the Aqua Star II HD. It is the successor to the Aqua Star II that was launched back in February this year. The Intex Aqua Star II HD comes with a better screen resolution as compared to Intex Aqua Star II.
Intex Aqua Star II HD features 5-inch (1280x720 pixels) HD IPS full lamination display. The Aqua Star II featured FWVGA display with 854 x 480 pixels screen resolution.
Under the hood there is an 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB internal storage and microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB microSD cards. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
Camera features include 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. The rear camera comes with features like scene detection, face recognition, panorama, geo-tagging, best shot, smile shot and HDR options.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. A 2000mAh battery runs the show on Intex Aqua Star II HD which is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time, and up to 250 hours of standby time.
The device measures 142mm by 71.5mm, is 8.95mm thick, weighs 125 grams and is available in Champagne, Silver, White, and Grey colours. It has support for 21 languages and comes pre-loaded with apps like opera mini, OLX, Intex service, clean master, Ask me, Myntra, Newshunt and more
The Intex Aqua Star II HD is priced at Rs. 6,590 and will be available via online and major brick-and-mortar stores across the country.
