Kestrel KM 451 and KM 401 entry-level Android smartphones launched in India
In India, new mobile phone manufacturers are eying to cater Aam Aadmi (common man) with entry-level handsets. One such brand is Kestrel, a new comer to the Indian market offering best possible specifications and features with their phones.
The company has launched two new entry-level Android smartphone dubbed Kestrel KM 451 and KM 401. The brand has partnered with Infibeam to sell their phones. The Kestrel KM 451 is priced at Rs 3,999 and is now available for purchase, while the KM 401 will be available later this month and is likely to be priced below Rs. 3,500.
The Kestrel KM 451 features 4.5-inch (480x954 pixels) OGS display and is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage (microSD card slot present). It runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The handset comes equipped with 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera. There is support for dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. A 1740mAh battery fuels the handset.
The Kestrel KM 401 on the other hand sports 4-inch (480x800 pixels) OGS display and is backed by 1400mAh battery. The rest of the specification are similar to KM 451.
The Kestrel KM 401 and Kestrel KM 451 comes bundled with one-time screen replacement warranty for which the brand has collaborated with GadgetWood eServices.
Kestrel also announced that it will launch two new feature phone, the KM 100 and KM 109 in the coming months which is likely to be priced around Rs. 3,000. In addition, the company is also planning to launch 10 different power banks with different specifications in numerous vibrant colors later this year.
