Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro starts receiving Android Lollipop update in India


Lenovo has started rolling out Android  Lollipop update to its Vibe Z2 Pro smartphone in India. The update is being rolled out over-the-air.

Lenovo's Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update bears the build number K920_S226_150429_ROW and since it is a major update for the operating system, the download package of the firmware is 1.23GB.

Users will be automatically notified as soon as the update is ready for download on Vibe Z2 Pro. Users can also manually check by going to settings>About Phone> System update. It is recommended to download the update through a stable Wi-Fi connection.

The Android Lollipop update for Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro comes with new material designed based on UI, improved Lenovo's Vibe UI, improved notifications, enhanced performance,new battery saver mode, new flashlight, ART as default runtime and more.

The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is a 6-inch QHD phablet and is known for its impressive battery life of 4000mAh battery. It is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Camera features include 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera.
