Panasonic Eluga L 4G with 5-inch display launched in India for Rs. 12,990

Panasonic has launched the company's first smartphone with 4G support called Eluga L 4G in India.

The Panasonic Eluga L 4G is a dual-SIM smartphone that supports India's Band 40 and Band 3 LTE. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and is expected to be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future.

The smartphone sports a 5-inch (1280x720 pixels) HD IPS OGS display with Corning Gorilla Class 3 protection. Under the hood there is an 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-cpre Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU. It packs 1GB RAM and comes with 8GB internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Camera features include 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording capabilities and 5-megapixel front facing camera. The front camera comes with a feature called Blink Play that lets users to capture selfies by blinking their eyes to start an automatic three second countdown.

Connectivity options include support for WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Unfrotunately there is no word on the battery capacity as of now. The smartphone measures 142mm by 71mm and sports a thickness of 6.1mm.

The Panasonic Eluga L 4G comes in Radiant Blue Color and is priced at Rs. 12,990. It comes bundled with a screen guard and a protective case.
