Lenovo Z41, Z51 are multimedia workstations for music and video lovers

Lenovo unveiled Z41 and Z51 consumer laptops at Lenovo Tech World, the company's first global technology innovation event in Beijing. The company touts that the Lenovo Z41 and Z51 "are the ultimate multimedia workstations for music and video lovers".

The Lenovo Z41 and Z51 are 14-inch and 15-inch laptops respectively featuring FHD display. It can be configured with up to fifth-genration Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM and 1TB of HDD or SSHD. They run Windows 8.1.

The Z41 and Z51 comes with two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI-out, 4-in-1 card reader and VGA port. For connectivity there is support for WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. There is also a 1-megapixel webcam. Other features include optional AMD graphics, Dolby DS 1.0 Home Theater Surround sound. On the Z51 there is an option to have Intel's RealSense 3D camera that brings the world to life. The battery offers up to 4 hours of battery life.

Lenovo's Z41 measures 20.2mm thick and weighs 1.9 kg, while the Z51 has a thickness of 22.7mm and weighs 2.3 kg. Both laptops will be offered in ebony black, chalk white and crismon red (Z41)

The Lenovo Z41 and Z51 prices start for $499. The Z51 with optional Intel RealSense 3D camera, Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB RAM price starts at $599. Both laptops will be available at www.lenovo.com and retail shelves starting June.
