Samsung Galaxy A8 specifications revealed by benchmarks; Galaxy J5, J7 visit TENAA


Details of three new Samsung smartphones have surfaced online. The first one Galaxy A8 appeared on benchmark site and the other two Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 have been certified by by China's Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (TENAA).

First up, Samsung Galaxy A8 with model number SM-A8000 turned up in GFX Bench. The listing reveals that the Galaxy A8 will sport a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and it will be powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 405 GPU. 


The Galaxy A8 packs 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It comes with 16-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera.In terms of connectivity it supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, NFC and GPS. It packs 3050mAh battery. The phone is also rumored to sport a touch based fingerprint sensor like the one on Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 (SM-J5008) and Galaxy J7 (SM-J7008) paid a visit to China's TENAA.

Since both the Galaxy J5 and J7 are certified in China, we can expect the announcement in the coming weeks.
