The iBall Slide i701 is the world’s most affordable Windows tablet ever at Rs 4,999


iBall has launched a Windows 8.1 tablet, the Slide i701. The company claims that it is world's most affordable Windows tablet ever.

The iBall Slide i701 features 7-inch HD IPS display and is powered by quad-core Intel Atom processor paired with 1GB RAM. The tablet comes with 16GB internal storage and for storage expansion there is a microSD card slot present that accepts up to 32GB cards. It runs Windows 8.1 OS and is upgradable to Windows 10 for free. In addition the tablet comes with 1 year Microsoft Office subscritption and 1TB of free OneDrive cloud storage.

The Slide i701 comes equipped with 2-megapixel rear camera with flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera. Connectivity options include 3G (via dongle), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI and microUSB port. A 3200mAh battery fuels the tablet.

The iBall Slide i701 will be available across leading retail stores and e-commerce portal for Rs. 4,999 starting May 21. The tablet comes with a free back cover that is autographed by iBall’s brand ambassador Kareena Kapoor, Free HDMI Cable worth Rs. 699 and three interchangeable protective covers worth Rs. 599.
