iBall mSLR Cobalt 4 with four detachable lenses launched for Rs. 8,499
The iBall mSLR Cobalt 4 went on sale in India last month via Mahesh Telecom for Rs. 8,250 (MRP - 8,999). Now the company has officially announced the launch of the mSLR Cobalt 4 in the country. It is priced at Rs. 8,499 and will be available across the country in phased manner (coming weeks in phases).
Commenting on the launch, Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director, iBall said: "We are very excited with our newest launch which revolutionizes and redefines smartphones. With mSLR Cobalt4 the users shall be mesmerized on the Smartphone’s Camera with detachable lenses. The Multiple options of the lens shall snap great pictures and change the way photographs are captured on the smart phones! It’s again heartening that we are the first in India to launch a product with this technology."
The main highlight of the mSLR Cobalt 4 is that it comes with a detachable mSLR lens mount as well as four different lenses. The four different lenses include a zoom lens with 8x zoom, a fisheye lens with 175-180 degree viewing angle, a macro lens with 10x magnification and minimum object distance of 10-15mm and wide-angle lens with 130-degree veiwing angles.
The company is also bundling more goodies including free pouch, protective case and cleaning cloth for the lenses with the smartphone.
As for the specs , the iBall mSLR Cobalt 4 features 5-inch IPS qHD display (960 x 540 pixels) and is powered by an 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB microSD card, runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and supports 15 regional languages.
