Oppo Joy 3 quad-core CPU, 5MP shooter announced for $140

Oppo Joy 3 has been listed on the company's global website. The phone was launched in Philippines for php 6,490 (Rs. 9,000 | $140)

The Oppo Joy 3 features 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor paired with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB RAM. Onboard storage is 4GB, further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with ColorOS 2.0 on top.

Camera feature include 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front shooter. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB OTG and GPS. It is backed by 2000mAh battery. It measures 132.8 x 66.6 x 8.95mm, weighs 135g and comes in classic white and matte grey colors.

The phone has easy screen-off gestures in which users can double tap on display to wake up the device, slide up or down with two finger to pause the music, or draw a circle to directly access the camera. Other features include double exposure for overlapping two image, Beautify, Audio Photo and Pure Image 2.0+.
