Panasonic Eluga S Mini with 5MP front shooter launched for Rs. 8,990

Panasonic India launched the mini version of its selfie-focused Eluga S in India, the Eluga S Mini. Manish Sharma, Managing Director, Panasonic India, said that the Eluga S Mini is "targeted at the younger generation - the always-on-the-go college youth" and "perfect for consumers looking for innovation, design, superior build quality and advanced features,"

The Panasonic Eluga S Mini comes with dual-SIM support and runs Android 4.4 KitKat with FIT Home UI on top. It sports 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixesl) HD IPS display and is powered by 1.4GHz True octa-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. The phone comes with 8GB internal storage and microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB supported).

Camera features include 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash which can recored full-HD (1080p) videos at 30 fps. There is also a 5-megapixel front shooter that comes with Blink Play technology. This feature lets users capture selfies or groupies by just blinking the eyes on an automatic three seconds countdown.


Connectivity features include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. A 1980mAh battery fuels the Eluga S Mini. It has support for 21 languages, measures 137.5 x 68.4 x 9.45mm, weighs 135g and comes in Frost White and Shadow Grey colors.

Panasonic's Eluga S Mini is priced at Rs. 8,990 and comes bundled with a free screen guard. It will be available this week via major e-commerce websites and brick and mortar stores across the country.
