Phicomm P660 with 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 615 SoC launched in India for Rs. 10,999

Chinese smartphone maker, Phicomm has made its Indian debut with the launch of its first LTE-enabled Android phone, the Phicomm Passion 660. The phone sports a premium magnesium alloy frame.

The Phicomm Passion P660 houses Hybrid Dual-SIM slot, which can also use the second Nano-SIM slot as microSD card slot. Unfortunately, users will not be able to take advantage of extended storage and dual-SIM at the same time. It runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Expect OS 5.0 UI on top.

Phicomm's Passion P660 fearures 5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood there is an 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor, paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. The phone comes with 16GB internal storage and is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat

The Passion P660 sports 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX214 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. On the front there is a 5-megapixel camera for taking selfies.

Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G, USB, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Sensor suite includes accelerometer, e-compass, barometer, light, proximity, step-counter, and gesture sensors. A 2300mAh battery fuels the Passion P660. It measures 139.5 x 69 x 7.4mm, weighs 110g and comes in black and white colors.

Passion P660 uses Qualcomm Snapdragon Voice+ technology and two microphones for clear voice chat. It has global 4G roaming support. It also has a pedometer that lets users track how much they walk in a days and shows the calories burnt.

The Passion P660 is priced at Rs. 10,999 and will be exclusively available to buy from Amazon India starting June 9.
