ZTE Blade Qlux 4G becomes India's most affordable 4G LTE smartphone at Rs. 4,999


ZTE launched a 4G enabled smartphone dubbed Blade Qlux 4G for the Indian mobile market. The Blade Qlux 4G is priced at Rs. 4,999 and will be available from June 16 exclusively via Amazon India. ZTE is offering double data offer for Airtel subscribers.

The ZTE Blade Qlux 4G becomes India's most affordable 4G LTE phone at Rs. 4,999, leaving behine Xiaomi's Redmi 2 that is priced at Rs. 6,999. It supports both TDD and FDD LTE bands in India and offers data speeds up to 150mbps on LTE Cat.4 network in the country.

ZTE Blade Qlux sports 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS diplay and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732M 64-bit processor paired with Mali-T760 GPU and 1GB RAM. The phone comes with 8GB internal storage and microSD card slot (accepts up to 32GB) for storage expansion. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop (availability time frame not revealed)

ZTE Blade Qlux comes with 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS and Dual-SIM support. It is backed by 2200mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 12 hours of talk time, and up to 250 hours of standby time.
